Annie’s parents have come by several times since we’ve been home from the hospital and we’ve really enjoyed hanging out with them and watching them interact with Oliver. Every time they come over they are always looking for ways to help out and Ken is always ready to pray for any need that arises right on the spot. It’s funny to see how much love they have for Oliver after only knowing him for a little while & it seems to be so natural and easy – it’s the same way with my parents & really both of our families. It’s amazing that God gives us the ability to love so quickly. One thing that I though was kind of funny was recently when Jo or Nana came over for dinner she was holding Oliver in one hand and trying to eat in the other. Both Annie & I offered to put him in his bassinet so he could sleep & so she could eat, but she wasn’t having that. She would rather hold him and be inconvenienced with other things than not hold him. His Nana and Pappy are very proud to call him their grandson. Above are some pictures from those visits.

Cousins!

Oliver has several cousins that are fairly close together in age and he was visited by all but one recently. Oliver has two cousins through my brother Dave & sister in law Beth – they have a daughter named Bella & a son named Micah. He also has a cousin through my sister Abby & her hubby Erik – they have a son named Jonah who is only about 5 months older than Oliver. Last but not least Oliver has a cousin through Annie’s sister Heidi & hubby William – they have a son Trey. Since Heidi and William live in Macon, GA they weren’t able to visit Oliver yet but we are looking forward to seeing them as soon as we can & seeing how Trey and Oliver interact with each other. Oliver was able to meet Bella, Micah and Jonah and here are some pictures from those visits.
